NAPSCO’s highly experienced staff includes geologists, geophysicists; Petrophysicists and Programmers have made it the only integrated Libyan company in this domain with international standard and high performance.
In 2003, To achieve the highest standard of services, NAPSCO had a joint venture with Energy and Information Technology a British company specialized and have a vast experience in data processing, seismic victoraization and tape copying.
During 2005 and 2006 further staff recruitment, hardware upgrades and facility upgrades were undertaken to allow in-country seismic data processing. Finally, in 2006, The company relocated to new, larger office facilities soon after, significantly upgraded its hardware and equipped itself with the tools and employees to enable it to provide a full suite of in-country seismic data processing services.
With guaranteed expertise from experienced UK and Egyptian geophysicists as well as an intensive training program for Libyan geophysicists, NAPSCO- is now able to offer high-quality 2D, 3D, Land and Marine Tripoli-based seismic data processing to it’s Libyan clients.
’s SPA suite of software combined with interactive SeisUPTM is installed on the upgraded multi-CPU system. This is the same powerful combination of seismic processing software used at all other computer centres.
Our Tripoli centre has also upgraded its computing hardware to include a large Dual-Core Opteron 270 CPU cluster, dual-screen workstations and RAID protected disc storage to greatly enhance in-country processing capacity. Communications capability has also been improved with the installation of digital telecommunications and a 2Mb broadband internet connection. This enables the centre to have on-line real-time support and back-up from GGS-’s technical support teams at their major sites worldwide.
